I am on my second read-through of Ann Voskamp's One Thousand Gifts devotional. Her whole premise is about seeing God in the little things that we'd normally miss or just dismiss. She challenges us to thank God for even the tiniest gift He gives. 33 Miles offers a similar challenge in their song Thank You.
