A Song of Adoration

This song by Rush of Fools just popped in my head recently. Totally random, I just started humming and so I looked it up. "When Our Hearts Sing" is a song of adoration to God. It is us admitting our unworthiness to be known and heard by God.

Introducing Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope is composed of two girls - best friends - Cammie and Natalie (read more here). They remind me of 1GirlNation in both vocals and style.

Major excitment around here

I don't know if you've heard the news, but Owl City is coming out with a brand new album!!!!! It's called Mobile Orchestra and it has an amazing song called "My Everything". What's so cool is, in the past, his Christian songs on albums have been indirect. They are not explicitly Christian and you have to infer the meaning. "Galaxies" is the most direct and it never says the name of God or Jesus. 

He has some solo release songs that are Christian (In Christ Alone, You're Not Alone). I've been wishing he would come out with an EP of Christian songs, but I am so stoked that he has such an obviously Christian song on his new album.

Awesome mash-ups // 2015 K-Love Fan Awards

For the K-Love Fan Awards the last year and this year, they have had the band Anthem Lights do a mash-up of the Song of the Year Nominees. These guys are super talented and they do great mash-ups. I hope they keep on doing it This year's in particular has some awesome songs in it. . Happy Listening!
