God Of All My Days ~ Casting Crowns

Casting Crowns has been releasing some incredible songs in the last few years. These songs speak to people who are down, lost, and broken. I'm imagining that a lot of it is born out of Mark Hall's bought with cancer, but whatever the case, they really help me when I'm going through something difficult. 

The latest release to the radio is the song, "God Of All My Days". It reminds me of Psalm 77:10-12, which is the psalmist saying that in hard times, he will remember who God is. That's what this song is about.

Oh My Soul ~ Casting Crowns

This is one of those songs that has grown on me the more I hear it. The music/lyric video made me love it even more! Dance with piano, you just about can't go wrong!

I'm one of those people who worries. I fight it and I know it is a lack of trust in God, but that is one of the things I struggle with. This song is very much me. My favorite lyric is: "There's a place where fear, has to face the God you know."

Upbeat songs are by far my favorite and help me get out of sadness, but sometimes you need to feel through pain and fear and sadness. This song is one of those songs. I am growing quite the collection ;)

I will never get over how amazing Casting Crowns is at writing songs that have such powerful lyrics and music. I heard this song on the way to church a few weeks ago and then had to wait for it to go on YouTube (I hate that :)
